IT'S TIME FOR THE ANNUAL SHERIDAN LIONS CLUB BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

LIONS CLUB COLLEGE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT - The Sheridan college basketball teams will be the hosts for the annual Sheridan Lions club tournament games will be Friday and Saturday at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00.

The Lady generals are 5-3 overall and will host Gillette, Little Big Horn and Fort Carson Academy while the Generals are 5-0 and will host Northwest college, Little Big Horn and Rocky Mountain college.

POST SEASON FOOTBALL AWARDS ANNOUNCED

WYOMING SUPER 25 FOOTBALL TEAM - Five players from Sheridan county have landed on this year's Super 25 football team with three Sheridan Broncs and two Big Horn Rams making the 2010 team.

Named to the Super 25 this year's list includes senior All-state offensive and defensive lineman Kyle Hutchinson, All-state linebacker Dawson Osborn who was also named 4-A defensive player of the year along with Osborn and Hutchinson is Zack Will who made All-state as a wide out, defensive back and return specialist.

November 20th

GENERALS AND LADY GENERALS BOTH WIN

GENERALS HOOPS - The Sheridan College Generals took their first game of a tournament at Northwest college in Powell beating a team of Colorado All-star College players 109-86.

The Generals are now 4-0 on the season and will play Western Montana this afternoon to close out that event.

LADY GENERALS HOOPS - The Lady Generals beat Salish-Kootenai 79-54 last night as they host a tournament at the Hoffman dome.

The Lady Generals will close out the event this afternoon at 3:00 against Rocky Mountain college.

TOO BE OR NOT TOO BE IN LARAMIE: HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs have played in the last two 4-A championship football games they were joined this year in Laramie by Big Horn.

The Wyoming High School Activities Association moved the title games to the University of Wyoming two years ago moving away from the old system of host sites from higher seeded teams.

This week's Bank of Sheridan / Sheridan media poll question is should the finals continued to be played in Laramie?

Lady Generals play tough in loss and get ready to host another weekend tourney

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals fell to 2-4 on the season losing last night to North Idaho it was their third ranked opponent in their last four games North Idaho is ranked 4th in the country this week.

The Lady Generals started fast going out to a 12-3 lead but North Idaho reeled them in and took the Halftime lead and pulled away in the second half winning 85-70.

THE SHERIDAN COLLEGE WOMEN PLAY AT HOME TONIGHT

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals are 3-2 on the season after dropping three straight at a tournament in Twin Falls, Idaho last weekend at the College of Southern Idaho.

Even though they went 0-3 Head coach Frank McCarthy says they learned a lot playing really good teams. Tonight that continues as they host a single game at the Hoffman dome at 7:00 against North Idaho .

SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS PARENT MEETING IS WEDNESDAY NIGHT

The Sheridan high school Winter sport parent meetings for Girls and Boys basketball and wrestling will be held in the high school auditorium on Wednesday.

Girls basketball will start at 5 pm with boys basketball and wrestling to follow at 6 pm. All parents with children involved in these sports should plan to attend.

THE HIGH SCHOOL WINTER SPORTS SEASON IS UNDERWAY

LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc basketball returns a full starting five back this season Head coach Derek Bissitt says they hit the floor running last night.

And Bissitt says with plenty of talent and depth the Lady Broncs are looking forward to getting the season underway.

BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs got off to a little slower start last night with several varsity players coming off last Saturday's state championship football game.

The Big Horn Rams, Sheridan Broncs and Buffalo Bison had to settle being the Runner-ups on football championship weekend

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Rams started the day day Saturday facing Thermopolis in the 2-A title game. The Rams had trouble getting the ball into the Endzone settling on three Colby Wollenmen field goals as Thermopolis avenged a regular season loss to Big Horn knocking the Rams of 13-9.

Following the game Head coach Bert Dow said it's tough consoling players after a championship loss.

He says they moved the ball well most of the game but couldn't finish those drives with touchdowns.
