TROOPERS FACE JACKSON IN BILLINGS TOURNEY OPENER / WYO RODEO WEEK CONTINUES

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings today they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips the competition in this tournament will be good for the Troopers.

And he says he feels confident the Troops will play well especially after the way they played last week in Cheyenne.

TROOPS HEAD OUT ON THE ROAD / 2013 WYO RODEO BEGINS

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings tomorrow they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips says the players got a good wake up call in their last home loss to Gillette and had a good tournament in Cheyenne last week.

And he says the Troopers should be playing with a lot of confidence heading into the Billings tournament.

July 7th

TROOPERS GO 3-2 AT CHEYENNE TOURNEY / 2013 WYO RODEO WEEK IS UNDERWAY

TROOPER BASEBALL - he Sheridan Troopers won three and lost two games at the Cheyenne baseball tournament over the weekend the Troops now stand at 14-17 overall.

They head back out on the road to another tournament Thursday in Billings, they open against the Jackson Giants.

The next Trooper home games are Monday July 15th when they host a double header with Laramie the first game will start at 5:30 and we will have it live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

TROOPERS FINISH UP CHEYENNE TOURNEY

The Sheridan Troopers lost to the Casper Oilers 15-2 in their final game at a tournament in Cheyenne. They went 3-2 on the weekend.

This coming week the Troopers will play at another road tournament in Billings which gets underway Thursday.

July 6th

TROOPERS SPLIT TWO AT CHEYENNE TOURNEY

Troops outscore Cheyenne Hawks 17-13 an lose to Colorado Hitstreak 12-0 they continue play in Cheyenne tomorrow.

The next home date for the Troopers will be a double header with Laramie Monday July 15th.

TROOPERS WIN TWO / WYO RODEO WEEK SET TO BEGIN

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers won two games on the first day of a tournament in Cheyenne.

The Troops blew out Wheatland 19-9 and beat the Colorado Instructional team 14-4 they continue today with a single game against the Cheyenne Hawks.

The next home date is Monday July 15th when they host a double header with Laramie the first game will start at 5:30 and we will have it live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

2013 SHERIDAN WYO RODEO - Sheridan WYO rodeo activities start today and tomorrow with the playing of the Chris Ledoux memorial golf tournament at the Powder Horn.

July 2nd

TROOPERS FALL TO GILLETTE / OPEN A TOURNAMENT IN CHEYENNE TOMORROW

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped their conference game 9-5 against Gillette Tuesday night.

It was a strange game with the teams combine for 36 strike outs, trooper pitchers struck out 19 Gillette batters but gave up nine runs with walks, errors and Gillette's timely hitting did the Troopers in Head coach Ben Phillips.

NIMMO CONTINUES TO IMPRESS IN MINOR LEAGUES

TROOPERS / GILLETTE TONIGHT AT THORNE-RIDER STADIUM (LIVE BROADCAST STARTS AT 6:00)

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 11-15 overall but have a 2-0 record in conference play heading into tonight's conference game with Gillette.

The regularly scheduled game was rained out June 11th, tonight it's a single nine inning game and we will have it live for on on 14-10 KWYO first pitch is set for 6:00.

Troops Head coach Ben Phillips says the conference chase will start heating up tonight.

Here are the results from the POLARIS CUP held Sunday June 30 at the Big Horn Equestrian Center:

MVP was Ford MacCarty for R. A. Williams & Assoc.

Best Playing Pony was "Molasses", played by Ford MacCarty.
