Sheridan Broncs vs. Cheyenne East

The Sheridan Broncs fall to Cheyenne East 38 to 45.

Broncs Return Home After Undefeated Road Trip

Sheridan High School Bronc Basketball team will host Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central this weekend, and can clinch the 4A East top seed with two wins at home. The No. 2-ranked Broncs swept the two schools earlier this year during their road trip to Cheyenne. Broncs head coach Mike Ibach.

Johnson County HS Sports Weekend Kickoff

Johnson County high school weekend sports got started last night in Midwest, where the Kaycee Buckaroos and Lady Bucs took on the Oilers and Lady Oilers. We'll have results when they are released. The 1A State Tournament will be in Casper March 1-3.
Elsewhere in basketball, the Buffalo boys will play in Newcastle tonight and will host Torrington tomorrow.
The Lady Bison will host Newcastle tonight and host Torrington Saturday.
Game times tonight are at 4, 5:30 and 7 in both Buffalo and Newcastle.

Strong Finishes Push Generals, Lady Generals Past Western Wyo.

The Sheridan College Generals and Lady Generals basketball teams each withstood second half runs from Western Wyoming teams to earn home victories Wednesday night.

HS Winter Sports Winding Down in Johnson County

High school sports teams in Johnson County will be winding their winter sports seasons down in the next few weeks, and this weekend has most of them competing again.
In Basketball, the Buffalo boys will play at Newcastle Friday and host Torrington on Saturday.
The Lady Bison will host Newcastle Friday night and Torrington Saturday.
Buffalo's teams will have their 3A Conference Tournament in Newcastle March 1-3 and State will be in Casper the following week.
The Kaycee Buckaroos and Lady Bucs will play the Oilers in Midwest tonight in their final tune-up before Regionals next week.

Cowboy Basketball Tonight, Weekend Sports Preview

Taking a look at the local sports schedule this week. The Sheridan Bronc basketball teams will be in the friendly confines of the Sheridan High School gymnasium. This Friday the Broncs will host Cheyenne East at 7:30 pm and then Cheyenne Central Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm.

Bison Wrestlers Tune Up For Conference With Weekend Duals

Buffalo's wrestling team is still struggling getting healthy, but those participating had a good weekend showing at both Worland and Glenrock this past weekend.
Friday the team was in Worland and Saturday traveled to Glenrock to take on both the Herders and Thermopolis Bobcats.
Kyle Burton went 3-0 in his weekend matches, Jonathan Land finished 2-0, Ryan Watsenbaugh posted a 2-1 record, Cody Sanburn finished 1-1, and Seth Sickler went 0-2.
The team will be at the Conference meet this Friday and Saturday in Rawlins.

Bison Swimmers Are Conference Champs!

Buffalo's boys' swim team took the Conference Championship last weekend in Rawlins, finishing well ahead of second-place Worland to capture their third straight conference title.
Buffalo finished with 337 points, followed by Worland with 292, Douglas with 225, Rawlins with 204 and Newcastle with 102.
Coach Ron Chapin said this was the most exciting conference championship he has been involved in, and he was pleased with how the team responded to a good challenge from a good Worland team.

February 13th

SC Generals Get Tough Road Win

The Generals and Lady Generals traveled to Riverton Saturday to take on the Central Wyoming Community College Rustlers. After a slow first half for the Generals, down 41 to 28 at the half. The Generals came on strong and defeated the Rustlers Saturday night. Sheridan College now moves to 19-4 on the season, just a half game out of first place in Region IX North. The Generals & Lady Generals are back in action this Wednesday, February 15, against Western Wyoming College at 7:30 PM, at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
