PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGES TOMORROW / ROCKIES OPEN 2ND HALF TONIGHT

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc youth football camp finishes up to night at Homer Scott stadium.

The camp this week also has been featuring evening sessions for high school players the week will culminate with a day of scrimmages tomorrow.

Five teams will be going through seven on seven drills starting at 10:00 and will also go for a while in the afternoon and the public is invited to attend the scrimmages.

BRONC FOOTBALL CAMP OPENS / TROOPER BASEBALL / ROCKIES OPEN 2ND HALF TOMORROW

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football youth football camp opened last night at Homer Scott stadium.

Broncs Head coach Don Julian says it's important for the program to have outreach to the communities young kids interested in playing football no matter their grade or age.

The camp this week also includes evening sessions for high school players the week will culminate with a day of scrimmages on Saturday and the public is invited to attend the sessions Saturday.

BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP OPENS TONIGHT

BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP - The Sheridan Bronc football coaching staff will be holding their Bronc youth and player camp for the next three evenings.

The "Young Broncs" K-8th grade will be the first session tonight between 5:00 and 6:00 Head coach Don Julian says they start taking registration at 4:30 at Homer Scott stadium.

And he says the young kids will get a lot packed in over the next three nights.

July 15th

TROOPERS SWEEP LARAMIE / BRONC YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP OPENS TOMORROW

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers swept a double header from Laramie Monday night.

The Troopers won the first game 6-3, Kyle Atkinson threw a compete game four hitter at the Rangers, Troops Head coach Ben Phillips says it was just the performance they needed.

The Troopers led 2-0 but a couple errors in the 5th inning got Laramie a 3-2 lead but in the bottom of the 5th with two outs Connor Mcafferty saved the day wit a big solo home run to tie the game and take the pressure off Atkinson.

TROOPERS END BILLINGS TOURNEY 3-2 / WYO FINAL RESULTS / BRONC FOOTBALL CAMP

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers finish up tournament play in Billings Sunday. They ended up going 3-2 and capped the tournament with a 7-4 win over the Cody Cubs.

The Troops host a double header with the Laramie rangers tonight. They played Saturday in Billings with the Rangers winning that game 7-5.

Both teams will be a little tired and short on pitching coming out of the long weekend, Troopers Head coach Ben Phillips says Laramie has a good ball club and they will use as many arms as it takes to get through tonight's games.

July 13th

TROOPS SPLIT TWO IN BILLINGS / THIRD PERF OF THE WYO RODEO

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers split two tournament games in Billings Friday.

They beat the Billings Halos 7-4 and dropped a 7-5 game to Laramie they continue play in Billings today they play the Gillette Rustlers.

Bracket play begins tomorrow.

The Troops will play at Thorne-Rider stadium Monday night they host two with the Laramie Rangers the first game will start at 5:30 and we will broadcast game one live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

TROOPERS FALL IN BILLINGS TOURNEY OPENER / THURSDAY NIGHT'S WYO RODEO PERFORMANCE WINNERS

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers opened up tournament play in Billings yesterday and were shut out 7-0 by the Jackson Giants.

They have games today with the Billings Halos and Laramie Rangers and will finish up pool play tomorrow with the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

The Troopers will play at Thorne-Rider stadium Monday night they host two with the Laramie Rangers the first game will start at 5:30 and we will broadcast game one live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

TROOPERS FACE JACKSON IN BILLINGS TOURNEY OPENER / WYO RODEO WEEK CONTINUES

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings today they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips the competition in this tournament will be good for the Troopers.

And he says he feels confident the Troops will play well especially after the way they played last week in Cheyenne.

TROOPS HEAD OUT ON THE ROAD / 2013 WYO RODEO BEGINS

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers will open up tournament play in Billings tomorrow they open against the Jackson Giants.

They also have games with the Billings Halos, Laramie and the Gillette Rustlers, Sunday is bracket play.

Head coach Ben Phillips says the players got a good wake up call in their last home loss to Gillette and had a good tournament in Cheyenne last week.

And he says the Troopers should be playing with a lot of confidence heading into the Billings tournament.
