Weekend local sports wrap up

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan high school soccer teams both split conference games with Cheyenne East and Central over the weekend.

The Lady Broncs dropped their match with East Friday but salvaged with weekend beating Central Saturday.

The Broncs were on the road and beat East to open the road trip and fell at Central Saturday.

Both teams will play at home tomorrow with games against Natrona county. These matches were added to the schedule last week the girls match will start at 4:00 with the boys to follow at 6:00.

Bison Soccer Takes Both Weekend Games

The Bison boys' soccer team took both of their games this weekend. Defeating Torrington on Friday and 4A Kelly Walsh on Saturday.

Friday, the Bison got three scores from Garrett Monroe and a fourth by James Musselman to down the Trailblazers 4-0.

April 12th

SHS Soccer split with Cheyenne East / Central on the schedule today

Bronc / Lady Bronc soccer - The Sheridan lady Bronc soccer team lost at home against Cheyenne East 2-0 at Homer Scott stadium Friday

The Broncs beat Cheyenne 1-0 and will finish up the road trip today at Cheyenne central.

Both teams will host matches with Natrona county Tuesday the girls play at 4:00 and the boys at 6:00.

Troopers preparing for season opener / Plenty of local sports action on tap for the weekend

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are less than a month away from opening day of their new season and the home opener is exactly 30 days out.

Head coach Ben Phillips says practice has been limited due to weather and field conditions but they've done the best they can to get off to a good start.

And what will the next three weeks hold for the Troopers before the season opener on May 3rd.

Busy Weekend Begins At Home Friday For BHS Teams

Buffalo High School's athletes will have a busy weekend beginning with home soccer games today and the golf team hosting their tournament today as well.

April 9th

TR hosts track Friday / BH hosts Golf / SHS Track and Soccer / Rockies hit the road

BRONC / LADY BRONC TRRACK AND FIELD - The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams will compete at an invitational at Kelly Walsh high school tomorrow.

SHS Head coach Art Bauers says starting tomorrow the season kicks into high gear for the Broncs and Lady Broncs.

And the upcoming three week run will keep their athletes sharp.

TR TRACK AND FIELD - Tongue River high school will host their first ever home track meet tomorrow events are scheduled to get underway at 10:00 am.

Youth Volleyball Champs

The Sheridan Volleyball Club Yellow team competed in the Gillette Invitational on Saturday, April 5th. They won the 14A Gold Bracket Championship.

It's Open season at Kendrick Golf Course

KENDRICK GOLF COURSE - It was officially open season at Kendrick golf course Tuesday and several people were enjoying a great first day and we caught up with Kendrick Head professional Brian James on the back nine.

And James says it was a great opening day. And he says know is the time to start thinking golf.

SHS GOLF - The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers tee it up Friday at a tournament in Buffalo.
