August 20th, 2015

2015 Fall Sports start this weekend / Rockies rally over the Nationals / Broncos at Houston tomorrow

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team will open the season a week from today at a tournament in Cheyenne. Head coach Maureen McEwen says the experience coming back will get them off to a good start next week.

SWIMMING / DIVING - The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will open in Gillette next Friday Head coach Brent Moore says swimmers had a great off season and are ready to get going.

August 19th

Bronc / Lady Bronc Tennis opens this weekend / SHS Golfers tee it up in Cheyenne / Rockies fall 4-1 v Nationals

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams open their season this weekend with road matches with Torrington and Casper Kelly Walsh all the matches will be played in Casper.

Sheridan Head coach Bob Faurot says they are having a good opening week.

And the preseason outlook for both teams, first Faurot talks about the Lady Broncs.

This season tennis is starting a week earlier and Faurot says it only helps the players get more matches and more experience.

August 18th

SHS X-Country / Lady Bronc Swimming and Diving / Rockies fall at home to the Nationals / Broncos at Houston Saturday night

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Bronc and Lady Bronc cross country team does some water training for the first week of practice at the Sheridan Jr. high pool, Head coach Art Bauers.

Today they head up into the Big Horn mountains for their team building camp. And Bauers went onto to say the 2015 season looks good for both teams.

August 17th

Lady Bronc volleyball camp report / Fall sports in full gear this week / Rockies host Nationals tonight / Broncos at Houston Saturday

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - High school girls swimming, volleyball, tennis, cross country and golf all open practice Monday and we stopped in a made a visit to the Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball camp morning practice, Head coach Maureen McEwen says it was a great opening day and their numbers look good.

And she says they will get a lot done this week and they prepare to open the season a week from Friday.

August 16th

2015 Fall Sports season gets into full swing today

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team begins week two of preseason camp today Head coach Don Julian game planning for the opener and getting the team into the early mind set of what it is going to take to stay in the top of the league.

As week two starts Julian some of the tough days are behind them.

August 14th

The full fall local sports season gets into full swing Monday

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team finishes up week one of training camp today. The Bronc home opener will be Friday September 4th against Kelly Walsh kickoff is scheduled for 7:00.

Big Horn and Tongue River open football camp Monday, their seasons begin September 4th the Rams host Lovell at 7 pm and the Eagles host Rocky Mountain at 7 pm.

COWBOY FOOTBALL - The Wyoming Cowboys open their season September 5th at home against North Dakota, kickoff in Laramie is scheduled for 2:00.

Broncos open preseason tonight / Rockies back at home tonight after losing 4 straight / 2015 Fall sports in full swing Monday

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team finishes up week one of training camp tomorrow.

Head coach Don Julian says the players are getting through the two a days in pretty good shape and now start looking ahead to opening night on August 28th.

And he says as usual 2015 in 4-A football is going to very tough and league should provide a lot of parody.

And the work of taking on Laramie week one and KW week two is already in the works.

SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Bronc football team preseason camp continues today, we continue our conversation with Head coach Don Julian as they go through day four of two a day workouts and so far it's pretty much gone as expected this week.

and looking ahead, Julian says they will starting looking at their first opponent, Laramie as opening day comes up on the 28th.

The Bronc home opener will be September 4th against KW.
