Bronc Playoff ticket prices set for Friday's game with Laramie

Prices for Friday set by WHSSA are $3 and $5, fans can buy at the Sheridan High School office in advance.

The First Federal parking lot will be open weather permitting.

The game kicks off at 7:00 at Homer Scott stadium.

State Swimming and Diving / State Volleyball / Football playoffs / Hoop season begins

LADY BRONC SWIMMING / DIVING - The Sheridan Lady Bronc swimmers and divers will close out their season this week at the state championships in Gillette, the 4-A meet begins with diving Friday afternoon at 3:30.

Swimming prelims start a half hour after the diving ends the finals will start at 10:00 Saturday morning.

Lady Broncs Head coach Brent Moore says they are coming off a great regular season.

And the girls have put in the hard work and are ready for the state championships.

Lady Bison Second At Conference, Boast Many Champions

The Buffalo Lady Bison swim team finished second at the 3A East Conference Championships in Worland last weekend, but also had a number of Conference Champions crowned and some other great finishes in their last meet before State later this week.

SC Hoops / State Volleyball and Swimming / High school football playoff games set

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams open their seasons this week. hosting the "Holiday Inn" tournament Friday and Saturday.

The Generals will have a new look this year as fans will see a larger group on the court, Head coach Steve Smiley likes what he's seen during their preseason schedule.

He says they have very good players and defining their roles with the team will work itself out over the next several weeks.

State Cross country / Regional volleyball / Football Playoffs

Bronc Junior Taylor Bruso finished 15th

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The Wyoming state cross country championships ran under sunny skies Saturday in Sheridan.

The Broncs and Lady broncs finished 10th and 11th respectively Head coach Art Bauers the state meet was a great learning experience for the young Sheridan runners.

And he says with the talent coming back the future of both programs looks great.

Bison Win Final Game Of Season

The Buffalo Bison football team finished their 2013 campaign on a high note, beating Rawlins 38-22 on the road Friday night.
Buffalo finishes their season at 1-7.

State X-Country / Broncs / Rams heading to the playoffs / Regional volleyball

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The state meet starts with the boys 4-A finals at 10:30. The meet is being held on the grounds of the Sheridan VA medical center.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball team was eliminated from the 4-A East regional volleyball tournament Friday.

They dropped their opening match against Cheyenne East and then were eliminated from the tournament with a loss to Laramie.

Big Horn will play Wright for 2-A East regional championship today in Wright.

Big Horn Dominates Eagles to Close Out Regular Season

The Big Horn Rams football team jumped out to an 18-0 lead in the first quarter with three early touchdowns and were never threatened by the Tongue River Eagles Friday afternoon in Big Horn. The Rams pitched a shutout and cruised to an easy 46-0 win against the Eagles. Rams Head Coach Michael McGuire says that the early big lead allowed some of their younger players, particularly at the running back position, to get some much needed experience.
