October 24th

2013 THUNDER BOWL / BRONCS HOST BISON / REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs close out the regular season at home tonight against Cheyenne South.

South has one win this season that was the school's first 4-A league victory ever and Broncs Head coach Don Julian says the Bison are a dangerous team.

And with playoff home field advantage on the line the Broncs face a must win scenario tonight.

We will have the game live tonight on KWYO and 87.7 FM the First Federal pregame starts at 6:30, kickoff is at 7:00.

Weekend Preview For Buffalo, Kaycee HS Sports

The Buffalo High School football team, winless at 0-7 this season, will be looking for their first win on the road against Rawlins tonight. Kickoff between the Bison and the Outlaws will be at 6 o'clock.
Both teams' seasons are done after the game.

Kaycee's Buckaroos football team will be home against Guernsey on Saturday. Kickoff is at 3pm. The winner will take the #2 seed in the 1A 6-man East.

Rams and Eagles to End the Regular Season

The Big Horn Rams will host the Tongue River Eagles in the last regular season football game for both teams. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the preview.

October 23rd

ONE MORE GAME BEFORE THE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS BEGIN

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs close out the regular season at home tomorrow night against Cheyenne South.

It's Senior night with the presentation of seniors starting at 6:00 the game will kickoff at 7:00.you can hear the game live on KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The final game of the regular is tomorrow and Head coach Don Julian says the season flew by and they have a lot on the line tomorrow night.

October 22nd

STATE CROSS COUNTRY IN SHERIDAN SATURDAY / REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL / FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

STATE CROSS COUNTRY - The state cross country championships will be in Sheridan Saturday at the VA medical center Sheridan high school Activities Director Don Julian says it's great to have the event back in Sheridan.

Sheridan high school Head coach Art Bauers says it's nice for the Broncs and Lady Broncs to run on their home course.

And he says the course is fair to all types of runners.

October 21st

SHS FRESHMEN VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS

The Lady Broncs freshmen played in their state tournament Saturday, October 19th, in Cheyenne. The Lady Broncs went into the tournament as the number 2 seed from the north. The played the number 3 seed from the south, Rock Springs. Sheridan won the first set easily, lost the second set, and won the third set to advance to the semifinals where they would play Gillette.

They won this in straight sets to advance to the championship match. They would end up playing the number one seed, Kelly Walsh.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL / FOOTBALL REGULAR SEASON FINALE / WYOMING COWGIRL HOOPS

COWGIRL KAYLA WOODWARD

STATE X-COUNTRY - The state cross country championships will be in Sheridan Saturday at the VA medical center, the boys 4-A race will start the competition at 10:30.

REGIONAL VOLLEYBALL - The Lady Bronc volleyball will head to Cheyenne Friday for their regional tournament at East high school they open with the host team at 11:00 Friday morning.

The Tongue River Lady Eagles and Big Horn Lady Rams will be in Wright for the 2-A East regional starting Friday. The Lady Eagles play Burns at noon the Lady Rams play Saratoga at 2:00.

October 20th

WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC FOOTBALL - The mistake prone Sheridan Broncs fell at home against Natrona county Friday night 38-20 Head coach Don Julian.

The Broncs close out the regular season at home Friday night against Cheyenne South. It's senior night with the presentation of seniors starting at 6:00 the game will kickoff at 7:00.

RAMS - The Big Horn Rams as expected blew out Moorcroft Friday Ron Richter has the wrap up.

Weekend Sports Wrap For Buffalo, Kaycee 10 20 13

The Bison football team came close to getting their first win of the season at home last Friday, but ultimately fell to the Torrington Trailblazers 17-16. They are now 0-7 for the season and will travel to Rawlins this week to play the Outlaws and their season is done.

October 18th

Rams High Powered Offense Too Much For Moorcroft

The Big Horn Rams football team hosted the Moorcroft Wolves Friday afternoon in Big Horn. The Rams uptempo offense was almost unstoppable at times as they beat Moorcroft 55-20.

Rams Senior Quarterback Connor McCafferty threw four touchdown passes and ran for another. The defense helped out the offense as well, as Miles Novak and Colter Carzoli each had an interception returned for a touchdown. Rams Head Coach Michael McGuire comments on the win.
