January 31st

SC SWEEPS LBH / COWGIRLS WIN ON THE ROAD / POKES LOSE AT HOME

SC HOOPS - The Sheridan college basketball swept games from Little Big horn community college Wednesday night.

The Lady Generals blasted LBH 97-42, the Generals had an 18 point halftime lead stretching it out to as many at 30 in the second half and won 95-67 to pick up their 20th win of the season after the victory head coach Steve Smiley.

And he says another plus was getting every players good minutes and all contributed good numbers in the win.

The Generals defeated the Little Big Horn Rams in a 95 to 67 victory! If you missed it earlier, the Lady Generals also beat the Little Big Horn Rams in a final score of 97 to 42! Congrats!

SC / COWBOY BASKETBALL TONIGHT

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals are back on the court in the Hoffman dome tonight hosting conference games with Little Big Horn community college games are at 5:30 and 7:30 and we will have them live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The Lady Generals have never lost to Little Big Horn but Head coach Frank McCarthy says the Rams have a very good team this year and the Lady Generals have a good challenge in front of them tonight.

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will be back in action at the Hoffman dome tomorrow night with games against Little Big Horn community college games are at 5:30 and 7:30 and we will broadcast them live on 87.7 FM.

The Lady Generals saw their 10 game winning streak end in Gillette Saturday and Head coach Frank McCarthy says they ran into a good team having a good night on their home court.

WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Lady Broncs swept their weekend road trip to Cheyenne wining at Central and East to go to 15-1 on the season and unbeaten conference record.

They will try and keep that record intact this week when they play at Gillette Friday night

The Broncs won at the buzzer Friday night against Cheyenne Central as Anthony Newlon hit a three point basket as time expired to give the Broncs the 60-59 victory.

Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools' sports teams were busy this weekend and fared well for the most part.

The Bison boys' basketball team defeated Douglas Friday night 50-46 and in a make-up game from one postponed due to weather a couple of weeks ago, beat Wheatland 46-44 on Saturday.
