November 26th

2012-13 WINTER SPORTS BEGIN THIS WEEK

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc basketball teams open the 2012-13 season Friday at home playing a double header with Green River. The girls varsity game will tip at 5:45 and the boys follow at 7:30 we will have both games live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The Lady Broncs return a strong group from last season and Head coach Sean Yeager says it's game week and all their attention is on Friday night.

If you are new to Wyoming USA wrestling, please bring a COPY of your wrestler's birth certificate to registrations. The club will retain a copy of it for the club's files.

Fees are listed on registration packet.

November 25th

SC BASKETBALL / WYOMING HOOPS / BRONCS WIN 6TH STRAIGHT

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals split two games over the weekend they beat the College of Great Falls Friday and lost 70-68 against the number two ranked team in the country North Idaho Saturday night.

Head coach Frank McCarthy was pleased with the effort in the game Saturday.

And he says playing the best teams in the country this time of year is good for the players as they move ahead with their season.

SC WINS IN TWO BLOWOUTS / COWGIRLS ARE 3-0

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals beat the College of Great Falls Friday night 117-37 to go to 7-2 overall, the Generals finish up the Lions club tournament tonight against Colorado Northwestern tip off is scheduled for 7:00.

The Lady Generals blew out the College of Great Falls as well Friday night 91-39 tonight it's a big step up in competition when they take on the 2nd ranked team in the country North Idaho tip off is at 5:00.

November 22nd

LIONS CLUB BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT BEGINS TODAY

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals host the Sheridan Lions club tournament today and tomorrow.

Tickets can be purchased at the door all day adult tickets are 6.00 dollars and students at 3.00 dollars games are at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 both days.

This will be the second straight weekend at home for the Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy.

November 20th

GENERALS FALL HARD AT HOME

SHERIDAN COLLEGE BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals lost at home against Eastern Wyoming Tuesday night in overtime 91-82.

The Generals fall to 6-2 they led the whole game until they gave the game away. With three seconds to play and leading 70-68 the Generals turned the ball over and committed a foul.

Eastern converted two free throws to tie the game at 70 then blew the Generals out in overtime, after the loss Head coach Steve Smiley says that's as bad a loss as any team can take.

November 19th

GENERALS AT HOME TONIGHT / LIONS CLUB TOURNEY THIS WEEKEND

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals play at home tonight against Eastern Wyoming tip off is at 6:00 we will broadcast the action for you live on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

The Generals are 6-1 overall coming off an impressive weekend which saw them win two games against two very good JUCO programs in the region Head coach Steve Smiley.

November 18th

WEEKEND BASKETBALL / FOOTBALL AND ALL-STATE FOOTBALL SELECTIONS

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals split their weekend tournament games, they blew out Salish-Kootenai 107-46 on Friday and dropped a 51-48 game against Eastern Wyoming Saturday.

They sit at 6-2 as they get ready to host the Lions club Thanksgiving tournament Friday and Saturday.

The Generals picked up to impressive road wins over the weekend they beat Northeastern Junior college from Sterling, Colorado 73-62 and Williston, North Dakota 82-77 to run their record to 6-1 overall.
