February 13th

Bison Swimmers Are Conference Champs!

Buffalo's boys' swim team took the Conference Championship last weekend in Rawlins, finishing well ahead of second-place Worland to capture their third straight conference title.
Buffalo finished with 337 points, followed by Worland with 292, Douglas with 225, Rawlins with 204 and Newcastle with 102.
Coach Ron Chapin said this was the most exciting conference championship he has been involved in, and he was pleased with how the team responded to a good challenge from a good Worland team.

February 12th

SC Generals Get Tough Road Win

The Generals and Lady Generals traveled to Riverton Saturday to take on the Central Wyoming Community College Rustlers. After a slow first half for the Generals, down 41 to 28 at the half. The Generals came on strong and defeated the Rustlers Saturday night. Sheridan College now moves to 19-4 on the season, just a half game out of first place in Region IX North. The Generals & Lady Generals are back in action this Wednesday, February 15, against Western Wyoming College at 7:30 PM, at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.

Johnson County HS Weekend Wrap: Win Some, Lose Some

Another busy weekend for high school sports in Johnson County is in the books, and the teams had a fair weekend.
The Bison basketball teams played just one game each this weekend.
The boys played at Rawlins Friday night and came away with a 56-48 win over the Outlaws.
The girls hosted the Lady Outlaws and fell 57-40.
Also on Friday, the Kaycee Buckaroos ran away from Arvada-Clearmont 88-42, while the Lady Bucs beat the Lady Panthers 56-39.
Both Kaycee teams struggled on Saturday, eventually losing to Lingle.
The Kaycee boys lost 50-36 and the girls lost 41-35.

Lady Bison fall to Rawlins at home 57-40.

BRONC WRESTLING RESULTS / HOOPS HIGHLIGHT THE WEEKEND

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers closed out the regular season last night hosting Gillette, the Camels pulled away mid way through the dual to win the conference title 43-27.

Head coach Scott Cleland says it was a good dual but just didn't go their way.

The Broncs made a great turn around this season and Cleland credits the upper classmen for showing the younger guys the way.

Bison, Bucs Back in Action Tonight

The Buffalo Bison and Kaycee Buckaroos sports teams will be competing again tonight and Saturday throughout the state.
A very strong Bison swim team will be at the Conference Meet today and Saturday in Rawlins, with expectations of doing very well, if not taking the conference crown.
The Bison wrestling team is gearing up for their conference meet February 17 and 18 with two meets this weekend. Today the team will be in Worland and then will travel to Glenrock tomorrow to battle both Glenrock anf Thermopolis.
