September 18th

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS POST SEASON PREVIEW / STATE GOLF

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams play at their conference tournament this week the tournament opens Friday in Gillette.

The Lady Broncs ended their regular season 4-5 in duals Head coach Bob Farout.

The Broncs were solid during the regular season going 7-2 and Farout says it was one of the best regular season's for the Broncs in several years.

September 17th

SC RODEO RESULTS

The first college rodeo of the season is in the books and we are very proud of the how our team performed. The Men’s team placed 5 out of 15 teams with 305 total points, the Women’s team placed 8th.

On the Men’s side Zeke Thurston a freshman was 76 points in the first round in the Saddle Bronc Riding to win the round, he was 68 points in the short round to place second.

Zeke won the average with 144 total points, he earned the team 170 points, only two saddle broncs were rode in the short round, so the bucking horses were very good.

Bronc win the Casper invitational

BRONC / LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan Bronc cross country runners had a big day Saturday winning their first meet of the year at the Casper invitational Head coach Art Bauers.

And he says that victory was a big confidence builder for the Broncs. Bauers says the youthful Lady Broncs had a pretty good day as well.

Now they head to a big invitational in Billings Saturday and he says their runners love to compete at this Billings invitational.

September 16th

Johnson County HS Sports Results For September 17

High school sports teams from Buffalo and Kaycee were busy but had a rough weekend overall.

Buffalo’s football team hosted the Green River Wolves, and were in the game through the first quarter as they led 14-0 early. They eventually fell 34-14.
Kaycee’s Buckaroos 6-man football team downed Hulett 28-22.

In volleyball, the Lady Bison dropped their matches with Douglas 3 games to 0 and Wheatland 3 games to 2.
The Kaycee Lady Bucs fell to Tongue River 3 games to 0.

September 14th

FRIDAY LOCAL SPORTS RESULTS

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs routed Evanston Friday night 41-9 they got off quick leading 17-3 at halftime and pulled away early in the 3rd quarter over coming 4 turnovers in the win.

Nate Kane had three touchdown runs, Kevin Bakkehaug threw a touchdown pass to Casey Carlton, Gunner Edeen kicked two field goals and Brandt Ross return an interception late in the game 31 yards for a touchdown.

September 13th

ANOTHER BUSY LOCAL SPORTS WEEKEND IS HERE

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host Evanston tonight the Broncs are 2-1 the Red Devils at 1-2.

The Broncs are looking to make some improvements in their game tonight especially being more consistent with their play on both sides of the ball.

Head coach Don Julian says the coaches and players seem to be making more progress this week.

Over these last several season's the Bronc / Evanston games have been highly competitive and Julian says they expect more of the same tonight.

BRONCS - The Sheridan Broncs host the Evanston Red Devils the First Federal savings bank pregame show will start at 5:30 kickoff is at 6:00 on 14-10 KWYO.

RAMS - The Big Horn Rams play at the Wright Panthers the First Federal pregame show will start at 6:45 with kickoff at 7:00 on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

COWBOYS - The Wyoming Cowboys host Cal-Poly Saturday afternoon pregame starts at 3:00 with kickoff at 4:00 on 14-10 KWYO AND 87.7 FM ESPN radio

September 12th

RAMS / BRONCS FACE TOUGH OPPONENTS FRIDAY / EAGLES ON THE ROAD

RAMS FOOTBALL - The Big Born Rams are 2-0 and will play at Wright tomorrow night Head coach Micheal McGuire says the Rams are in a good place going into week three.

After posting two big wins and averaging over 45 points per game he says the Rams are in for a tough battle from their opponents for the rest of the regular season.

The Rams / Panther kickoff tomorrow night at 7:00 the game will be broadcast live for you on 87.7 FM ESPN radio.

Johnson County HS's Prepare for Full Weekend Of Sports

Buffalo and Kaycee High Schools' athletes will have a full slate of activities this weekend, many of which will be on their home turf.

The fifth-ranked Bison football team (1-1) will host No. 4 Green River this Friday at Bison Stadium. Kickoff will be at 6pm.

SHS TENNIS POSTS VICTORIES / EARLY START FRIDAY FOR BRONC FOOTBALL

BRONC / LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams swept conference matches at Casper Kelly Walsh Tuesday both teams posted the same record winning 4-1.

They play at Powell Friday and in Cody Saturday those matches will end their regular season.

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals dropped a 3-1 match against Rocky Mountain college Tuesday night.

VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team will play at home this week, Friday night they host Cheyenne Central and Saturday afternoon they host Cheyenne East.
