Rough Weekend For Buffalo, Kaycee HS Athletes

High school teams from Buffalo and Kaycee had a rough go at it this weekend, suffering some setbacks in their competitions.

The bright spot was the Bison golf teams which were at their State Tournament in Worland.
The Bison boys team finished 6th, powered by Lee hartley's finish tied for 11th and Tyler Harriet's finish at 19th.
The girls team finished third, with Sydey Gruntmeir finishing tied for 6th.

ANOTHER BUSY SHERIDAN COUNTY SPORTS WEEKEND

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will be on the road at Rock Springs tonight. The Broncs are 3-1 and are looking to remain among the elite teams in 4-A with a road win tonight.

Head coach Don Julian says first thing tonight is the Broncs must start fast.

And he says it's also big for the Bronc defense to get after the Tigers early

We will have the game for you live tonight on 14-10 KWYO and 87.7 FM ESPN radio the First Federal pregame starts at 5:30 with the kick at 6:00.

LADY BRONC 9TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL

Lady Broncs 9th grade Volleyball B Team takes 2nd at the Wyoming-South Dakota First Interstate Classic, September 15th in Gillette.

Congratulations to Sheridan High School’s 9th grade volleyball B team for taking 2nd at their tournament this past weekend in Gillette. They beat Douglas, Cheyenne South, and Laramie to earn a spot in the championship game against RC Stevens from Rapid City.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS PREVIEW

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team will be on the road at Rock Springs tomorrow night. The Broncs are 3-1 the Tigers are 1-3.

The Broncs are coming off a dominating win against Evanston where the defense flexed their muscle for the first time this season Head coach Don Julian.

And Julian says one thing the Broncs must do tomorrow is be ready to play as soon as they step out of the locker room.

Busy Johnson County HS Sports Weekend Kicks Off Today

Another busy weekend in high school sports begins today for both Buffalo and Kaycee.

The Kaycee Lady Bucs volleyball team will host Arvada-Clearmont tonight in Kaycee. Games are scheduled at 6 and 7pm.
Friday and Saturday the girls will be at the Casper Invite to take on JV teams from Laramie, Sheridan and Green River.

LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL / ANOTHER BUSY LOCAL SPORTS WEEK

SC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college Lady Generals volleyball hosted a league match with Casper college Tuesday night the T-birds would take the match in three straight games.

The Lady Generals had the lead in each of the games but failed to close out the T-birds head coach Jennifer Wietzel.

And Wietzel says it's just the lady generals getting more confident as a team that will enable them to start winning these close matches.

Bison Win Conference Crowns In Golf

The Bison and Lady Bison golf teams were at the Conference Tournament in Douglas over the weekend and came home with Conference Titles for the boys' team, the girls' team, and an individual crown for Lee Hartley for the boys.
