BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Broncs and Lady Broncs play Riverton at home tomorrow the Lady Broncs are 2-0 while the the Broncs stand at 1-1.

The Lady Broncs are ranked number one this week in the 4-A basketball poll and Head coach Sean Yeager says they are just striving to get better. And they working everyday on fine tuning the basics.

GENERALS / LADY GENERALS WIN BIG / BRONCOS AT OAKLAND TONIGHT

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams opened conference play Wednesday night at Little Bighorn community college.

Both teams won in blowout fashion with the Lady Generals beating the Rams 103-58 Kayla Kiriau and Milo Nanai led five players in double figures with 18 points each.

The Generals hammered the Rams 107-71 Sophomore Victor Burmudez led the way with 23 points.

They both play at home Saturday against Northwest college at 3:00 and 5:00.

Bison, Buckaroos Weekend Sports Preview

Buffalo and Kaycee high school athletes will be in action again this weekend, looking to improve on a good first weekend of the winter sports season.

The Bison boys' and girls' basketball teams will be at home Friday night to host Riverton. Games for the boys are scheduled at 3, 4:30 and 7:30 with the girls tipping at 3, 4:30 and 6.

POKES GET TO 9-0 / SC IN ROAD ACTION TONIGHT

SC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college basketball teams open conference play tonight at Little Bighorn community college.

These will be the first conference games of the season for both teams Lady Generals Head coach Frank McCarthy says the season ramps up a bit tonight at Crow Agency.

BRONC WRESTLERS OFF TO A GOOD START

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished 5th at the Powell invitational they had six place winners overall and two champions.

Cody Delk and Braxton Cooper won individual titles, Gage Tyree and Tory Music finished 3rd, Cody Welborn was 5th and Gabe Legler was 6th.

Broncs Head coach Tyson Shatto says overall it was a pretty good start to the season.

THE WEEKEND LOCAL SPORTS WRAP UP

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams both won Friday night the Lady Broncs beat Green River 65-37, Reed Ritterbusch poured in 30 for the Broncs as they whipped the Wolves 77-47.

On Saturday the Lady Broncs won at Billings West 53-30 while the Broncs dropped an 82-42 game against a very good Billings West squad.

Broncs Head coach Gale Smith says the young Broncs got a good lesson from the Bears on Saturday.
