LARAMIE, Wyo. - For the first time this season, Wyoming forward Kayla Woodward has earned Mountain West Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for games played from Dec. 17-23, 2012. It is the third MWC weekly accolade of her career.

Woodward scored a team-high 16 points and seven rebounds, shooting a season-high 7-10 (70.0 percent) from the field and 2-3 (66.7 percent) from beyond the arc.

BRONCOS TAKE DOWN THE CHIEFS 38-3 FOR 11TH STRAIGHT WIN

DENVER -- If he wants, Peyton Manning can use all that time at home to crank up the DVD player and watch the highlights.

What a set he put together for himself and his acrobatic receivers on Sunday.

Manning and the Denver Broncos wrapped up home-field advantage through the AFC playoffs with a predictable 38-3 runaway over the Kansas City Chiefs -- a win punctuated by a pair of touchdown passes as nifty as any of the 37 Manning threw this year for his new team, which closed the regular season on an 11-game win streak.
