Bison Soccer Looking at Busy Weekend

The Buffalo Bison Soccer Teams will both have busy weekends with two games each on the slate.
The boys and girls will each host Rawlins on Friday, with the girls' game scheduled at 3pm and the boys' game scheduled at 5.
On Saturday the girls will stay home to host Cheyenne South, with the games set to begin at noon and 2pm.
The boys will travel to South on Saturday and play at noon and 2pm as well.
The Bison boys now stand at 3-1 on the season and are ranked #1 in 3A Soccer.
The Bison girls are 3-0 so far this season and they also are ranked #1 in 3A.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER IN ACTION TONIGHT

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs and Lady Broncs open conference play tonight with matches against Gillette these are their only matches of the week.

The broncs will play in Gillette the Lady Broncs host the Camels the JV's will open the action at 4:00 with the varsity set to go at 6:00.

The Lady Broncs are 3-0 the Broncs are 4-1 in non-conference play Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser says they are off to a good start and expect to get much better in the coming weeks.

SHERIDAN 5TH GRADERS WIN TOURNAMENT IN BILLINGS

The Little Lady Bronc Blue 5th grade team won their age group at the Hoop It Up Tournament, Billings, MT, March 26-27.

The Championship Game was played against The Sheridan Bucket Dumpers final score 22-17

SHERIDAN COLLEGE HOOPS GEARING UP FOR SIGNING DAY

LADY GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Lady Generals are coming off an 18 win season Head coach Frank McCarthy says it was a good year for a young team.

Looking ahead to next season the north sub region champs will get to host the region nine tournament and McCarthy says that makes next year's sub region schedule must win to get a chance to host the tournament.

As far as recruiting, several players will be back next year but the process has begun to build for 2011-12.

Jo Co Athletes perform Well at Campbell Invite

The annual Jerry Campbell Invitational Track meet was last Friday at George Grace Field in Buffalo.
Attending were teams from Arvada-Clearmont, Big Horn, Buffalo, Campbell County, Kaycee, Meeteetse, Midwest, Normative Services, Tongue River, Upton, Worland and Wright.

SHS SOCCER CONFERENCE PLAY BEGINS THIS WEEK

BRONC SOCCER - The Sheridan Bronc soccer team has a 3-1 record and will open conference play Thursday with a road game at Gillette.

The Broncs made a late run a year ago and went all the way to the state title match and return this spring trying to get back there.

65 players have come out for bronc soccer forcing the school to add more JV games to the schedule to make sure every player get plenty of opportunity to play Head coach Kevin Riser says it's a good problem to have.

SHERIDAN COLLEGE RODEO RESULTS

Sheridan College had an outstanding performance this weekend. Three guys and three women qualify for the short go at the Eastern Wyoming college rodeo in Torrington this weekend. Ty Hiatt was 64 points in the long go as well as the short go giving him 128 points on two, winning the average in the saddle bronc riding.

In the Bareback riding, Shane Stevens was 66 points in the second go round, splitting 4th and 5th overall. Matt Schieck qulified for the short go in the team roping with his brother Brad with a time of 12.9.

Bison Soccer Teams Win Big

The third-ranked Bison boys' soccer team traveled to Powell on Friday to take on the Panthers and came away with a 5-0 shutout of Powell.
Buffalo then took on Cody Saturday at BHS, and came away with an impressive 7-1 rout of the Broncs.
The Bison are now 3-1 on the season.
