LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs lost their first game of the year Saturday in Laramie a day after winning at Kelly Walsh.
The Laramie girls beat Gillette Friday night and took down the Lady Broncs 69-58 Saturday.
The Lady Broncs had a rough game filled with turnovers, missed shots and poor defense that added up to their first defeat of the season Head coach Derek Bissitt.
The Buffalo Bison Sports teams faced some tough competition this weekend, and had mixed results.
The No. 2-ranked boys' basketball team hosted a fiesty Rawlins team Friday night and fell to the Outlaws in a hard-fought game 64-63.
The Bison swim team will be heading to their conference championships this weekend, easily the favorite to come out on top.
Coach Ron Chapin said the team is ready and looking forward to the challenge, and have their sights set on another prize as well.
BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Bronc wrestlers finished up the regular season with a dual at Gillette. The Camels are expected to the a big favorite to run away with the 4-A state title again this year.
Last night the Broncs could only win three matches as the Camels took the dual 56-12.
Bronc winners last night were Jay Sandvig and Lucas Giesey winning by decision and Trevor Goss picked up the other six bronc points winning by pin.
BRONC FOOTBALL SIGNINGS - Two Sheridan Bronc football players signed on the dotted line yesterday to play college football at Black Hills state in Spearfish.
Black Hills is moving up to division II this season seniors Dan Zemski and Zack Will made official yesterday.
When they were juniors both were part of the Bronc state championship run and this past season they helped get the team back to the title game finishing as the runner-up.
