SHERIDAN COUNTY WEEKEND SPORTS WRAP UP / UW HOOPS AND FOOTBALL

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL - The Sheridan high school basketball teams moved to 3-0 on the season with victories Saturday over Riverton.

The Lady Broncs had no problem against a young and rebuilding Lady Wolverine team building up at 40-5 halftime lead and winning it 72-13 Head coach Sean Yeager says the Lady Broncs did a good job of staying focused in a game where didn't get much of a challenge.

Bison Boys, Girls Improve to 4-1 With Weekend Wins

Both the Bison boys' and girls' basketball teams improved their records to 4-1 with each getting two big wins over the weekend.
The boys were home to host Newcastle Friday and took that game 51-32 in the home opener. Saturday the Bison traveled to Worland and downed the Warriors 67-35.
The Lady Bison were in Newcastle Friday and beat the Lady Dogies 50-40, and Saturday defeated the Lady Warriors 46-40.
The Kaycee Buckaroos were at the Coal Miner Classic in Wright and dropped both of their games, 60-57 to 2A Wright and 58-44 to Lusk.
They are now 2-3 on the season.
