GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals opened the 2011-12 basketball regular season last night with an 84-63 win over Williston, North Dakota Head coach Steve Smiley.

They held the Tetons under 70 points Smiley says for the most part the defensive intensity was there all night.

And Smiley says the Sophomores did a good job of leading and their Freshmen group had their moments as well.

The Generals will play at a tournament in Gillette Friday and Saturday.
