IT WAS A GOOD WEEKEND ON THE SHERIDAN COUNTY SPORTS SCENE

SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs, Tongue River Eagles and Big Horn Rams all won football games. The Broncs led wire to wire in their 46-20 win over Cheyenne East Head coach Don Julian.

Julian says the Broncs played tough in all three phases of their game and did a nice job keeping the T-birds off balance.

Special teams did it again dominating East including Zack Will's second kickoff return for a touchdown.

The Broncs head out on the road Friday traveling to play at Green River.

Sheridan, Big Horn and Tongue River football all win

Sheridan Bronc football coach Don Julian has the Broncs 2-0 after beating Cheyenne East 46-20

SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne East 46-20 Friday night.

Dan Zemski threw four touchdown passes and Zack Will returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown in the victory.

The Broncs now 2-0 will play at Green River next week.

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams went on the road and picked up a 37-14 win at Greybull Friday night. The 1-0 Rams will play at home next week against Burns.

Tonight's Football

Tonight the Sheridan Broncs faced Cheyenne East. The Broncs would win 46-20.

Also, Big Horn takes the win against Greybull this evening. 37-14 being the final score. The game was carried live on 95.9 FM.

THE SHERIDAN RECREATION DISTRICT WOULD LIKE TO REMIND ALL LITTLE GUY FOOTBALL PARENTS THAT TONIGHT'S SHERIDAN BRONC FOOTBALL GAME STARTS AT 6:00 NOT 7:00 MAKE SURE ALL KIDS ARE AT THE GAME FOR THE ANNUAL LITTLE GUY NIGHT.

ALL LITTLE GUY TEAMS WILL BE INTRODUCED AT HALFTIME TONIGHT.

IT'S A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND GOOD WEEKEND FOR LOCAL SPORTS

Dylan Morin wins his 2nd X-country title of the season

BRONC AND LADY BRONC X-COUNTRY - The Sheridan high school cross country teams ran at an invitational in Gillette yesterday. Dylan Morin won the first meet of the season in Casper last week and made it two straight winning yesterday. As a team the Broncs finished 3rd overall Brendan Byron had a top ten finish in 7th place.

The Lady Broncs finished 3rd as well yesterday Erin Kinsey led the way finishing 7th overall Lauren Buyan finished 10th.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team hits the road this today when they begin play at a tournament in Gillette.

AN EVENT FILLED WEEK OF LOCAL SPORTS CONTINUES TODAY

Sheridan High School X-Country Coach Art Bauers

BRONCS AND LADY BRONC TENNIS - The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams lost matches at Natrona county this week Head coach Bob Faurot talks about the aftermath of those matches.

The Lady Broncs have this weekend off the Broncs will play at tournament in Scottsbluff, Nebraska Saturday and Faurot says it will be chance for the boys to get some good court time.

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL LEADS OFF A GOOD WEEK OF ACTION ON THE LOCAL SPORTS SCENE

Lady Broncs vs Gillette

LADY BRONC VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Bronc volleyball team hosted their first conference match of the season last night against Gillette.

The Lady Broncs held a 21-17 lead in the first game but Gillette would grab the momentum and win the next six points and go on to take the first game. That run changed the entire match Lady Broncs Head coach Wendy Ruby.

The next two games and the match went to Gillette as the Lady Broncs played out of sync in the the 2nd and 3rd games.
