THE BIG HORN FOOTBALL TEAM PREPARES FOR CAMP AND THE SHERIDAN TROOPERS PLAY TONIGHT

THE RAMS HEAD TO CAMP AT BLACK HILLS STATE

BIG HORN FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams football team is preparing this week for a team camp at Black Hills State University by holding a mini-camp at the Big Horn Equestrian Center Head coach Bert Dow says their summer weight program has gone well.

WRESTLING AND FOOTBALL CAMPING THIS WEEK FOR THE BRONCS AND THE RAMS

BRONC WRESTLERS ARE HOLDING CAMP THIS WEEK

BRONC WRESTLING - The Sheridan Broncs are hosting a wrestling camp this week and it's open to all middle school and high school wrestlers. Bronc Head coach Terry Burgess says some of the Broncs have already been camping this summer. And this is a perfect opportunity to get even more good instruction without having to leave town.

Again all middle school and high school wrestlers can attend tonight's session will get underway at 5:00 in the Sheridan high school wrestling room.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers dropped two games in Cody last Friday and will play on the road tonight in Riverton. The Troops play two at home Wednesday night against Sturgis, South Dakota. The Troopers start the post season at their district tournament July 22nd the top four qualify for the state tournament which begins in Sheridan July 28th. Head coach Ben Phillips says the Troops have some quality games to play over the next three weeks.

JETS SPLIT DOUBLE HEADER AND WITH THE TROOPERS PLAY ON THE ROAD THIS WEEKEND

The Sheridan Jets earn a split with Cody

SHERIDAN JETS BASEBALL – The Jets played Cody last night and earned a split in the double header at Thorne-rider stadium. Cody took the first game but the Jets came back and built up a comfortable lead in the second game and held off the Cubs 9-7. Head coach Ryan Murner says the players came back and got the job done in the late game.

TROOPERS SPLIT IN STURGIS

TROOPER BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers played in Sturgis, South Dakota last night and earned a split.

Sturgis took game one 9-6 but the Troops came back with strong pitching from Matt Jones to take the second game 8-1. Jones struck out seven in the victory, Devin Rogeau had a Double in each game and scored four times.

The Troops play their next four on the road, they head to Cody tomorrow and Riverton Monday before returning home next Wednesday in a return double header with Sturgis.
