AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The Sheridan Troopers are 8-23 overall after dropping a 9-5 game at Rapid City Post #320 last night. The Troops took the lead scoring three runs in the first inning but couldn't hold the lead starting pitcher Ben Buckingham was saddled with the loss.

Next up for the Troopers is a conference double header Tuesday at home against the Casper Oilers. Wyoming American Legion baseball went to a District tournament format last summer for teams to qualify for the state tournament and that is a month away.
