HIGH SCHOOL FALL SPORTS - The 2009 fall sports season starts Monday morning with the Sheridan Broncs opening training Camp the Broncs player / parent meeting will take place tomorrow at 4 o'clock in the SHS auditorium all players and parents must attend.The broncs and the coaches hit the field at Homer Scott stadium Monday morning for three weeks of camp before the season opener at home August 28t

SHS FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc coaches and players hit Homer Scott stadium Monday morning to open a three week camp before the regular season opener August 28th.tonight and tomorrow the Bronc coaches and team leaders will have a camp in the Big horns they'll come off the mountain Sunday for the annual Bronc player / parent meeting which will be held in the Sheridan high school auditorium at 4 o

BRONC FOOTBALL - The high school fall sports season officially gets under way Sunday with the Sheridan Bronc football team annual player / parent meeting. The meeting will be held Sunday at 4 o'clock in the SHS auditorium. Broncs' head coach Don Julian says all players and parents need to be at this meeting.

JUNIOR GOLF - The Sheridan county junior golf program finished up their season yesterday at the Powder Horn here are the girls results yesterday in the 9-11 year old group Kayla Allen won her third tournament in a row with Peyton Bomar 2nd and Jamy Shassetz 3rd in the 12-13 year old group Emily Speigelberg was 1st with Sarah Rawlings 2nd and in the 14 and older group the winners was Aspen Rawling

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The State American Legion baseball has a new champion with a familiar name as Post 6 from Cheyenne won it's eighth title in the last nine years Saturday night in Rock Springs.

Colorado beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-4

CINCINNATI (AP) - Dexter Fowler two-out RBI triple in the 11th inning helped Colorado beat the Cincinnati Reds 6-4 and complete a three-game sweep.

Garrett Atkins added a pinch-hit infield single to help Colorado earn its first win in five extra-inning games this season, all on the road.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL - The 2009 State American Legion Baseball Tournament enters it's final day in Rock Springs, and is down to the final three teams. Post #6 from Cheyenne is well on their way to winning their 8th title in the last 9 years. Post #6 waits for an opponent tonight in the championship game as Gillette and Powell dual for the right to face the Eagles.
