Buffalo Sr. Center Pie Auction

Buffalo Senior Center's annual Pie Auction raised more than $2,900 this year to help fund the Meals on Wheels and other programs at the center.

The local Safe Kids Chapter is celebrating the arrival of their Valentine's Day Baby with a free car seat. Gabrielle Skye Maynard was the first baby born at Sheridan Memorial Hospital today.

This is how the Bighorns appeared at 1:30 pm Wednesday near the Powder Horn just before a light snow mist engulfed the scene. For the rest of the day the Sheridan Area can expect a 30% chance of rain turning to snow showers later tonight.

Anyone for a dip?

Check out the new, filled to capacity, swimming hole that is located not far from the older Kendrick Swimming Pool. This swimming hole is located just north of the East Loucks Street Bridge - you can stand on the bridge and enjoy the view.

TR's Larry Moser Recognized (updated)

On Friday night between basketball games in Dayton long-time basketball coach Larry Moser was recognized and presented with a plaque honoring his 35-years of service. During his career as a coach he amassed a record of 309-179 and took the Eagles to a state championship in 1994.

SHS Wrestlers Close-out Home Season

Saturday afternoon the Sheridan Wrestlers took to their home mat for the last time this season against Cheyenne Central. Sheridan kept it close until the very end but ended up getting out scored 41 to 27. Sheridan won five matches including two by falls.

Broncs too much for Bison

Saturday afternoon the Sheridan Broncs notched another win - this one over the Cheyenne South Bison 53 to 38. The game was even after one at 14-14, in the second the Broncs doubled up the Bison 18-9, in the third it was South with 7 and 5 for Sheridan and in the fourth the Broncs again doubled up the Bison 16-8. South's #42 Isaiah Sims led all scorers with 18.

Rams down the Eagles 59 - 45

A technical on the Rams allowed a free throw by the Eagles top scorer Matthew Yellowtail to start Friday's game instead of a normal tipoff. Apparently the "T" was a result of an improper uniform top or number by Big Horn's Colter Carzoli.
