The State high school rodeo finals started on Thursday at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds in Douglas. In Thursday morning action Big Horn's Casey Collins led the way in Steer Wrestling with a time of 5.88 - a faster time than the 7.29 he had last Saturday at the Sheridan County High School Rodeo where he makes this smooth transition from his horse "Hookem" onto the steer.

On November 23, 2010 WYDOT awarded a $1.3 million contract to Intermountain Construction and Materials of Gillette for a project that includes a pathway for bicycles and pedestrians from Vale Street to Sparrow Hawk Road. Exactly 7-months later the results can be seen in this photo as forms are being set and concrete is being poured.

Perhaps a "Harison's Yellow" circa 1830 that is famous because the pioneers brought cuttings with them when they came west. The "Harison's Yellow is believed to have its chance root starting in Harison's New York garden - at today's location of 31st Street between 8th & 9th Avenues.
Cole Ponce, from Big Horn, wrapped up a great weekend with a first place 70-point ride on Bull "707" Sunday coming on the heels of this 64-point ride for 3rd place on Saturday and a 4th Place finish in Buffalo on Friday.
