The 11th Annual Hoop Jam is Underway

The 11th Annual Wyoming Rehab Hoop Jam kicked off on a beautiful Saturday morning in Sheridan as 190 teams went into action on the courts of Whitney Plaza - behind Sheridan Commercial. Proceeds from the event support Sheridan School District #2 Athletic Training Program and Wyoming Rehab's continued advancement of Sports Medicine.

For a Good Tasting Time Drop by the Ice Cream Stand

Thursday evening Brielle Green dipped up huckleberry ice cream in a waffle cone at the Kendrick Park Ice Cream Stand complete with a free smile. The stand has been open - weather permitting - since May 12th and has now changed to its summer hours of operation of 11:00 am to 9:00 pm daily now that school is out.

The hoops are up at Whitney Plaza - behind Sheridan Commercial where Katie Mischke, from Sheridan, was getting in a little practice on Friday evening. From the looks of that dunk others in the women's bracket should be shaking in their shoes if they have to go up against her.

Yes, after over one million miles spread over 36 years Agnes Blaney in Bus #15 officially retired as a Sheridan County School District No. 2 and Sheridan College bus driver on Friday. What may look like a 2011 Dodge Ram Truck unveiling is actually a decoration near the entrance of the Big Horn High School Gymnasium where on Sunday at 3:00 pm 31 Big Horn Ram and Lady Ram Seniors received their diplomas.

Time for a Hershey - A Hershey Track Meet That Is

On a beautiful make-up day the Hershey track meet went off without a hitch on Tuesday afternoon on Scott Field in Sheridan. In the age 9-10 girl's 200 Meter Dash Chloe Schilling took 1st Place with a time of 27.41 as she comes across the finish line in lane #5 wearing her "I Love My Puppy" shirt.
