Are You Ready for Pancakes?

If you were hungry for pancakes Grinnell Plaza was the place to be Friday morning. It is rodeo week and time for the Annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. As you'll see later the line at times went down Main Street and the pancakes were served near City Hall - but the line moved very fast and you could purchase tickets for the Duck Race along the way.

Steer Wrestling - The Wyoming Quick Style

Gillette cowboy Kyle Callaway showed the nine other competitors how to steer wrestle Thursday night and they had better not have blinked or they would have missed his clinic for it only took him only 3.99 seconds. His quick time brought a loud cheer from the near capacity audience. Scroll down to see more including Tanner Aus's score of 83 in Bareback.

With the mud a flying from the recent downpour some of the Sankey Rodeo Company rodeo stock was paraded around the arena in the sinking sunlight prior to the start of the First PRCA Rodeo Performance of the 81st Sheridan WYO Rodeo on Wednesday evening making for a great photo opportunity. Fill the Stands We're Lookin' for Action

It is almost time to fill the grandstand for the 81st running of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo and the Sankey Rodeo Company, celebrating its 31st year, appears to have rounded up some rodeo livestock. The Contract Sponsor for the stock contractor this year is the Powder Horn.

Setting Up for a 5:00 pm Opening

The carnival in conjunction with the 81st Sheridan WYO Rodeo is setting up for its 5 pm opening. The carnival will be open Wednesday through Saturday at 5:00 PM each day. Wristbands will be $25.00 each as they were last year. Wednesday is the buddy night, two wristbands for $24.00. New rides for this year are: Truckin USA (cute kid ride), a super slide and a star trooper.
