Bold and Beautiful

Perhaps unnoticed by many this year because of the Wyoming Avenue and Park Street reconstruction is this and other huge sunflowers in the 300 block of Park Street - just west of the Church of the Living God. Scroll down to see just how tall this sunflower is.

"Toot & Shoot" for chocolate lovers

It's "Toot and Shoot" aka the drive-thru flu clinic for veterans at the Sheridan Veterans Administration on the grounds of historic Fort Mackenzie. Once you arrive at Ft. Mackenzie just follow the signs like Frank Mills did to get his shot from Tammy Carlson who was armed with a needle and his sweet tooth reward from Joni Lyons who came bearing a chocolate lovers treat.

Little Guy Football @ Scrimmage Night

During halftime of the Cheyenne South v/s Sheridan high school football game on September 9th it was Little Guy Football scrimmage night for tackle players. On the north end of the field it was the Sheridan Colts v/s the Big Horn Cardinals where Colts #17 Liam Shannon ran for a score being chased by Cardinals #9 Jack Nance.

September 16th

Lady Rams Rise to the Occasion and Beat Wright

After the Rams beat Wright on the football field Saturday afternoon Lady Rams Jadyn Mirich, Mail Wright and Hanneah Puckett go up on defense on the Volleyball Court and block the ball for a score while Lady Panthers Brittany Belt, Kaylin Edwards, Chambrie Lawrence and Hayden Yeradi can only watch on Saturday evening. The Lady Rams took all three sets 25-18, 25 - 21, 25 - 22.

Kyle McGaugh Scores for Big Horn

A 2nd Quarter touchdown by Big Horn's Kyle McGaugh put the Rams up 6 - 0 and they never looked back as they cruised to a 31 - 0 victory over Wright on Friday afternoon in Big Horn.

Senator Malcolm Wallop @ Indian Paintbrush Festival 2004

The Indian Paintbrush Festival is among the many, many things the passing of Senator Malcolm Wallop brings back to memory. On a hot afternoon on August 24, 2004 festival attendees enjoyed an afternoon on a hillside at Canyon Ranch near Big Horn to hear music by Bob Wyatt and his bagpipes, the Craft Brothers, the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and John Haitt.
