Funds for Our Four Legged Friends

Last week's "Dining for a Cause" event held at Frackelton's restaurant in downtown Sheridan raised $11,298 for the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter.

National Honor Society Service Project

Members of the Sheridan High School National Honor Society recently completed their quarter service project. The 60-plus members created holiday “busy bags” for preschool students at the Child Development Center. Each bag contained fun activities for the children and useful items for their parents for this busy time of year.

Wyoming Community Foundation Distributes Grants

On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 local board members of the Wyoming Community Foundation - Sheridan Johnson (WYCF-SJ) delivered grant checks to four area non-profit organizations. Receiving funds: CHAPS- Children, Horses and Adults in PartnerShip for Therapeutic Riding, Dayton School Benefit Club, Story Recycling Group, and Johnson County Family YMCA.
