Sheridanites Hit The Polls

Election day is drawing healthy crowds to the polling locations in Sheridan County. At 10 a.m., voter waiting times were minimal, but a steady stream of voters kept elections officials busy. (Photos by Tracee Davis)

SD#2 Receives Cash Donation

Sheridan Media partnered with the Sheridan-Johnson Community Foundation to contribute $3,000 toward the Sheridan High School Community Donations and Hardship Funds. The funds are used to fill in financial gaps for students who need assistance paying for school lunches, technical certification, testing, and sports-related expenses, including equipment.

Movember Kickoff, Buffalo Style

Buffalo's Movember kickoff event was held at the Occidental Hotel November 1st. Local men shaved their mustaches and will spend the month growing them back to raise awareness for men's health issues. Photos by Krista Palmer.

SHS Drama Club's "The Odd Couple"

The Sheridan High School Drama Club proudly presents "The Odd Couple" - in two versions: Men's Version and Women's Version. In the men's version seen here Felix Ungar played by Dalen O'Connell holds his prized and now burnt London broil while the Pigeon sisters played by Sarah Campbell and Maddie Anderson converse over drinks with Oscar Madison played by Max Marquis.

A Close Heartbreaker (Updated)

With the ball and down by one in the waning minutes this throw by the Big Horn Rams ended up in the hands of the Lovell Bulldogs and two kneel downs later the season was all over for the Rams. The final score was 29-28 to send the Lovell Bulldogs into the 2A championship game next Saturday at 10:00 am in Laramie against the Lyman Eagles.

Pediatric Associates Host Halloween Luau

The staff at Northeast Wyoming Pediatric Associates, P.C., have gone all-out to celebrate Halloween in a way that's not scary for their patients. Everyone, from the doctors down to the office administrators, has donned luau gear, to include floppy hats, sunscreen, and even full on flippers and snorkeling gear.
