"Hello, Dolly!" - now playing

The Sheridan High School presentation of "Hello, Dolly!" in the Sue Henry Auditorium started a four performance run Thursday evening. This photo is from Act One, Scene Three in Mrs. Irene Molloy's Hat Shop where Mrs. Dolly Levi played by Brekken Baker has just taught Cornelius Hackl played by Cole Bateman and Barnaby Tucker played by Dalen O'Connel to dance.

Molly Butler makes it look easy as she glides across the ice in Sheridan Ice's 3rd Annual "Ice Show" Wednesday evening at the Sheridan Ice Rink. Molly was among the seven Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters who put on one last performance - this one for the hometown folks - as she performs her DELTA Program "ET" in this photo.

Silent Housing Auction - Birdhouse Style

It's time for the 2nd Annual Sheridan Central Education Association's Birdhouse Silent Auction. In the lobby area in front of the Sue Henry Auditorium at Sheridan High School you can bid on this birdhouse or one of the many others starting Thursday, March 1st until 4:30 pm March 4th.

Snowy Day @ Sheridan High

While many were eating lunch at noon on Tuesday, Dan from Sheridan County School District No. 2 Maintenance, was busy pushing the still falling snow in front of Sheridan High School. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the Sheridan area until midnight Tuesday. We can expect 3 to 6 inches of snowfall at the lower elevations with 6 to 9 inches over the Big Horn Mountains.

Lucas Giesey - State Champion

On Saturday night at the State Wrestling Championships in Casper Sheridan's Lucas Giesey took first place in weight class 170. Lucas defeated Riverton's TJ Galey with a major decision 9-1 to end the season with a record of 42 and 8 to become the first Sheridan wrestler to win at state title since Trevor Goss in 2009. The Broncs finished in third place overall with 188 points.
