One Last Glimpse of Winter

The Big Horns and the surrounding area received the last snow of winter on Monday, including portions of the area seen here between Wyoming Highway 335 and the mountains - just west of Big Horn. The longest winter in four years officially comes to an end Monday night at 11:14 pm. That means tomorrow, the first day of spring, day and night are each approximately 12 hours long.

Team Wyoming to compete in National Tournament

The Team Wyoming Pee Wee hockey team will participate in the USA Hockey National Tournament held just outside Washington DC March 28- April 1st.

Colby Wollenman - from Ram to Spartan

The screenshot shown here shows former Big Horn Ram Colby Wollenman, now a Michigan State Spartan, working with the Spartan standout Draymond Green during warm-up before Sunday's NCAA playoff game against Saint Louis. Colby left Big Horn after graduating in May 2011 and headed to Michigan to study medicine thinking his basketball days at a higher level were over.

Bison Soccer Downs Natrona 4-2 In Overtime

The Buffalo Bison soccer team hosted the Natrona Mustangs at BHS Saturday. The Bison won the game 4-2 in overtime.

Mike Ibach - Conference Coach of the Year

The Wyoming Coaches Association has selected Sheridan Bronc Head Coach Mike Ibach as the East Conference Boys Basketball Coach of the Year. Mike joins Bubba O'Neil, the West Coach of the Year from Evanston, as the two top coaches in the 4A.

Jumping into Spring (updated)

Coming off his 2nd Place high jump of 6'0" at the recent State Indoor Track meet' Sheridan Bronc Aaron Campbell is getting in a last practice jump before heading to Casper on Saturday for the Natrona County, Glen Legler Memorial, Earlybird Track Meet. The Sheridan Track and Field team has six away meets before the first home meet - the "Border War" set for 2:00 pm on Tuesday April 17th.

Lady Broncs Start the Season with a Win

Friday evening at the 18:45 mark of the 1st period Sheridan's Senior Noelle Golinvaux kicks in the first score of the season to put the Lady Broncs up 1 to 0. In the second half Noelle would add another along with teammate Taylor Townsend to defeat the Riverton Lady Wolverines 3 to 1. On Saturday the Lady Broncs travel to Cody for a Soccer Jamboree.

Girl Scout Birthday Baby

Sensamiia Rose was born March 15, weighing 6 lbs, 10 oz. at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She is the daughter of Tiana Scheutte.

Area Girl Scout Troops made and gathered a myriad of items for the first girl baby born at Sheridan Memorial Hospital on or after March 12, 2012 – the date that commemorates 100 years of Girl Scouting in America.
