If you were approaching Big Horn on the Bird Farm Road at 6:00 pm Friday evening you were treated to this view. Wow! It was definitely worth pulling over for this photo opportunity at the water storage tank pull out area.

On Friday afternoon at Big Horn the Thermopolis Bobcats were threatening to score near the 8-minute mark of the 1st quarter when their quarterback Kaden Haun looked like he had a "for sure completion" to his receiver Zach Larson in the end zone on what would have been the first score of the game.

At the Sheridan County Rodeo Award's Ceremony and Supper Saturday evening Shelby Mann and Mike Collins took home saddles for winning the All-Around Cowgirl and Cowboy Titles for 2012. Shelby finished with 270 points to become the All-Around Women's Champion while Tamara Mann finished in the runner-up position with 250 points.

The 3rd Annual Absaroka State Takeover 2012 featuring the 2012 Miss Absaroka Pin-up Contest took place August 17th & 18th @ The Big Horn Junction (7088 Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan).
