Gunnar Edeen Guns A Big League Kick

In a losing cause Friday night in the 100th meeting between the Casper Natrona Mustangs and the Sheridan Broncs Gunnar Edeen hits a 51-yard field goal out of the hold of Kameron Eckard with 5.44 to go in the 1st half. The kick by Gunnar gave the Broncs their first home field points of the new season.

Crazy Woman Square Shaping Up

Crazy Woman Square in downtown Buffalo is still under construction, but the mural on the Hitching Post building is complete. Artists Aaron and Jenny Wuerker and Marchel Kelly were the local artists commissioned for the mural. The band shell/restroom/storage building is taking shape and the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Veterans + Walleye Members = Smiles

It was definitely a winning combination on Saturday morning when the Northern Wyoming Walleyes Unlimited organization and other volunteers hosted veterans from the Sheridan VA Medical Center Extended Care Unit at Fort Mackenzie for a day on Lake DeSmet.

T.J. Headed Home to Redmond Oregon a Big Winner

In rodeo terminology T.J. McCauley is headed for "home" after having rounded the third barrel to finish Senior Barrel Racing with a time of 18.688. However before the day was over T.J. would head "home" to Redmond Oregon with a 2012 Ford Truck, thanks to Fremont Motor Sheridan, while pulling a three horse slant load goose neck Jackson trailer, thanks to Prime Rate Motors.

The intermediate roping team of Jake Deveraux and Colter Ellis took home first place buckles for Intermediate Dally Team Roping that included this capture during Sunday's conclusion of the 20th Annual Elks Youth Rodeo that was held at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds.

Load Shift

A semi carrying a load of hay tipped on its side Sunday afternoon near mile marker 9 on Highway 338 north of Sheridan. There were no injuries and the accident was a result of a strap that broke allowing the load of hay to shift.
