The cowboy on the Mint Bar and the clock seen through the trees on the corner say it is, "Time to rodeo." The week long Rodeo Week - July 6-15 - starts off on Friday with the Chris LeDoux Spurs & Spikes Memorial Golf Tournament @ the Powder Horn with a practice round, auction and buffet.

Hundreds turned out for Wednesday's 2nd annual Freedomfest put on by the Sheridan Recreation District at the old Woodland Park School on Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan. Along with a dunk tank and various eating contests and activities for the kids, the older set seemed to be content getting down and dirty playing some mud volleyball.
