Pictures were taken Tuesday night on Highway 16 near Ucross, looking at the hills just south of the Watt Ranch, except for the smokey Buffalo image, which was taken from a point overlooking Buffalo around dusk.
Sheridan's 100 degrees on Sunday was the first 100 of the year, Monday's 100 set a new record and Tuesday's 102 was 3 degrees below the record of 105 set in 1988. As for Wednesday's forecast of 88 - enjoy the cool down 'cause it won't last - it's back in the 90's for Thursday and beyond.
Looks like all the gold has escaped from The Bank of Sheridan's vault at 1375 Sugarland Drive and is now disguised as "golden" daylilies on the front yard for all to see and enjoy. Did you know that there are over 60,000 registered cultivars of daylilies and that they come in many colors except for pure blue and pure white, which hybridizers are working on?
