18-year-old Tongue River Senior Katie Reed recently achieved 2nd Degree Black Belt status in Taekwondo and will be taking a trip to South Korea with several other members from AJF Martial Arts in Ranchester.

SHS Band Presents: "A Festival Concert"

Music was in abundance all day Wednesday at Sheridan High School for the District Music Festival that was open to the public. There was even music in the Wrestling Room. A special treat the evening before featured the: Beginning Band, 3rd and 4th Period Percussion Class and the Symphonic Band on stage that was also open to the public.

Rotellini Shines at the Gary Benson Track Meet

Sheridan's Junior Michael Rotellini won big for Sheridan at the inaugural running of the "Gary Benson" Memorial Border War track meet on Tuesday afternoon at Homer Scott stadium. Michael took 1st in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:03.10 and followed that up with a 1st in the 1600 with a time of 4:35.28.
