Rams shoot down the Eagles

On Friday afternoon in Dayton it was no match as the unbeaten #2 ranked Big Horn Rams trounced the winless Tongue River Eagles 49 to 8. The TD's came early and often - this one near the 4:50 mark of the 1st quarter was a hand off from Connor McCafferty to Scott Passini. Scott took the hand off, plowed through a trio of eagles, burst into the open at the 40 and ran in for the score.

When the final point was scored in the third set the TR players and fans simultaneously erupted in celebration - they had not only swept the Lady Rams on the day but almost on the year.

Fiber Arts 15 on "Wyoming Libraries Snapshot Day"

The Library Mezzanine of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library is literally decked out in wall-to-wall quilts for all to admire. You may have missed the opening reception but you have until the end of October to view these works of art. At the desk at the top of the stairs is a binder of photos and clippings going back to the first fiber show: July-August 1998.

Help Make this a Reality

Midway through Fire Prevention Week, October 7 through October 13, 2012, as we learn and work on ways to prevent fires it is perhaps fitting to pause and remember two Sheridan Firefighters, Edward N. Green (1940 -2007) and Fred W. Tossie (1887-1929).
