Thursday afternoon heavy equipment was seen cleaning up the Sheridan County School District #1 Bus Barn that was then located near the Big Horn Junction when it went up in flames on August 9th. This view of the clean-up operation is through the brick structure that once proudly held the sign of the old Apostolic Lutheran Church that preceded the areas function as a bus barn.

To culminate National Fire Prevention Week, Sheridan Fire-Rescue hosted an open house over the weekend that included everything from fire truck rides to a live fire demonstration and a BBQ.
This picture was taken south of Sheridan, about a quarter of a mile from the Big Horn Y. It is a young juvenile bald eagle that was feasting on a dead deer along the highway.
