Weather information indicates that Sheridan set a record for the maximum rainfall yesterday, October 7th, when 1.79 inches fell breaking the old record of 0.59 inches set in 1993. The 1.79 inch rainfall also breaks the all time daily precipitation record for October at Sheridan. The previous record of 1.60 inches was established on October 30, 1974.

The Sagebrush Community Art Center in Sheridan is home to an exhibit entitled Vertical: Platters on the Wall. The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of October.
