Visitors to Wyoming’s State Park lakes and reservoirs this summer can expect some short delays as members of the Game and Fish Department will be inspecting various watercraft for possible contamination by invasive species, specifically quagga and zebra mussels.

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - A Gillette man says he will attempt to break the world record for the most body piercings in one session. Ed Bruns already has 15 piercings, but on Sunday will try for 2,000 piercings in two hours. He's trying to break a record of 1,197 piercings in a single five-hour session.

The recent decision to eliminate the Speech and Debate program at Sheridan College was made jointly by faculty and administration. Sheridan College Vice President of Enrollment Services Mark Englert says that the decision was a tough one, but that it will actually help strengthen another program.

RIVERTON -- Federal and local authorities are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl whose body was found along a roadside on the Wind River Indian Reservation.

Marisa Spoonhunter's body was found off Givens Road, just east of Ethete. She had been missing for four days.

Habitat's "Brush with Kindness"

A Brush with Kindness will expand services to low-income homeowners in Sheridan County.

For several years, Christmas in April was a program in Sheridan where people in existing homes would apply for assistance for maintenance issues. Now, that program has been merged with a new Habitat for Humanity program called "A Brush with Kindness." Habitat's Executive Director in Sheridan, Jessica Lindsley, says of the merge.

The Sheridan County Fair Association Board of Trustees discussed capital outlay projects at their meeting Thursday that will be submitted to the Sheridan County Commissioners for the budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
