Wyoming Highway Patrol Beefs up Staff for the Holiday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Highway Patrol has beefed up staffing for the Labor Day weekend. The patrol is especially on the lookout for drunken drivers. It is participating in a special effort in Cheyenne to target impaired drivers.

LeAnn Rimes Cancels Tonight's Sheridan Show Due to Flu

Country music star LeAnn Rimes announced Thursday night she's cancelling her show in Sheridan due to the flu. The Trails End Concert Park is having a free concert tonight that's open to everyone featuring the bands Jagertown and Asphalt Cowby.

35 Years and Counting

Warren Mishcke began his time in Sheridan with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department in 1995 as the Information and Education Specialist. While his time in the Sheridan region has spanned almost two decades, he's actually been with the Game in Fish since 1978. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan was the site of a resentencing hearing Wednesday for 20-year-old Wyatt Bear Cloud, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2011 for the murder of Robert Ernst on August 26, 2009.
