Paumer Arraigned in District Court

Cammie Paumer was arraigned in District Court Thursday.

Clearmont resident Cammie Paumer was arraigned in 4th Judicial District Court Thursday on a number of Felony charges stemming from her role in allegedly embezzling approximately $15,000 from the Hand in Hand Childcare Center in Sheridan.

WAM Comes to Sheridan

11- year-old Elijah Rodgers of the Crow Indian Dancers. The group performed at the WAM Convention Kick-Off Wednesday at the Historic Sheridan Inn.

The City of Sheridan rolled out the red carpet Wednesday night to kick off the start of the four-day Wyoming Association of Municipalities Convention.

Chairman of the Sheridan Travel and Tourism Board, Judy Taylor, tendered her resignation Wednesday. Taylor made the announcement via a letter that was sent to Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey; members of the City Council and members of Sheridan Travel and Tourism.

Red Grade Road to Ranger Station Will Open This Week

Officials with Sheridan County have announced that Red Grade Road to the Ranger Station will open Friday morning.

The wet spring has forced Sheridan County to keep Red Grade Road closed longer than usual this year, as it's typically open by Memorial Day weekend.

Escapee Captured

56-year-old William S. Coomer escapee has been captured.

Weston County authorities have confirmed that 56-year-old William S. Coomer has been captured and is back in custody after he was found near LAK Reservoir in eastern Weston County Wednesday.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Billings police say nobody was injured in an explosion that destroyed one home and damaged three others.
