Buffalo Council Approves Purchase For Memorial Swim Meet

The Buffalo Pool Board approached the City Council at their last meeting, requesting funding from excess one-percent money to purchase starting blocks for the outdoor pool to accommodate a 2-day swim meet they hope to make an annual event.

Carousel Meets Goal on Kickstarter...What Now?

The Cowboy Carousel Committee had a successful fundraiser on Kickstarter recently, raising more than their goal of $25,000 to help in their dream of moving the Cowboy Carousel to a new home, the Cowboy Carousel Center to be housed at the Historic Beutler Building on North Lobban Avenue.

Bald Eagle Survey Results Reported

Volunteers reported 310 eagle sightings in the Powder River Basin during the 2013 Midwinter Bald Eagle Survey conducted by the Bureau of Land Management. Bald eagles accounted for 179 total sightings on the morning of Jan. 18.

At their meeting Monday, the Sheridan City Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend the East 5th Street Corridor Plan for approval by the city council.

BHS To Present Spring Play This Weekend

The cast of 'Ivan's Place' during rehearsal this week.

The Buffalo High School Drama Department will present their Spring play this Friday and Saturday at the BHS Auditorium.

The play, entitled “Ivan's Place” will be directed by Lori Lyle, who also wrote the story.

Buffalo Council OKs Proposal For Design Of Pipeline

The Buffalo City Council, at their last meeting, accepted the proposal from Nelson Engineering of Buffalo for the design work on the South Water Line Replacement Project.
