After a little more than two days of filming that included a lengthy process of camera maneuvering to make sure and catch each step that goes into making bits, spurs and buckles, the Discovery Channel completed filming at Tom Balding Bits and Spurs in Sheridan.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - The superintendent of Yellowstone National Park says seven grizzly bears have been captured near the scene of a fatal mauling of a Michigan hiker, but none has been linked definitively to the attack.

Sheridan County Listeria Death Linked to Cantaloupe Outbreak

(Updated) -- The Wyoming Department of Health confirmed Tuesday that Listeria that killed a Sheridan County woman last week was linked to the Colorado cantaloupe outbreak.

Outdoor Riparian Workshop

A good number of people turned out for a workshop on riparian management Wednesday at South Park in Sheridan.

Sheridan County hosted an outdoor workshop Tuesday at South Park that focused on management of riparian areas in the County. The workshop was also an opportunity to take public input on the development of a Riparian Management Code that is currently in the strategic assessment phase of implementation.

Daniels Fund Scholarships Available to Wyo. High School Seniors

High school seniors in Wyoming demonstrating financial need can apply now for Daniels Fund scholarships. Students must be nominated for scholarships by local agencies such as the Boys and Girls Club, 4-H programs the YMCA, or even their high school counselors.

Nomination Deadline for BLN Awards is Friday

The Business Leadership Network wants to recognize businesses who have excelled in working with disabled individuals in the past year, and they are accepting nominations for Sheridan-Buffalo area community members until Friday, September 30th.
