Consumer prices seem to keep rising for food, and yet many producers, such as local beef ranchers, are seeing record-low prices for their products.

Mike Callicrate addressed the annual meeting of the Powder River Basin Resource Council on Saturday. He says that retailers are holding the most pricing power now.

U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis voted against the Health Care Reform bill during the vote on Saturday. She called the plan an "ill-conceived, trillion-dollar debacle."

She had offered several amendments to the bill that would have protected citizens from being forced to purchase government-approved insurance, and states from having to fulfill unfunded mandates from the Federal government.

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Natrona County Sheriff's Department again has suspended the search for a 39-year-old Casper man who disappeared last month on an elk-hunting trip. Travis McMahan was last seen Oct. 24 near the Buffalo Creek Campground, north of Waltman. Sgt. Mark Sellers of the Natrona County Sheriff's Office says the department suspended the search for McMahan on Thursday.

The majority say 'yes', but some did say 'no', they think that Sheridan will become too big. Some feel that no matter what, you cannot stop growth.

The driver of a rented U-Haul truck remains in custody following a traffic stop and seizure of just over 40 pounds of marijuana. The driver of the U-Haul, 42 year-old Erich Thalmayer from Eugene, Oregon, was arrested Thursday just after 3:00 p.m. after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 approximately 4 miles east of Cheyenne.

RIVERTON, (AP) - The FBI is searching for a man who tied up a bank employee during a robbery in Riverton. FBI officials say the masked robber was armed with a handgun and confronted an employee who was opening the US Bank on North Broadway at about 7:40 Friday morning.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A spokesman says the one Wyoming Army National Guard soldier at Fort Hood Army base in Texas is accounted for and safe after a mass shooting there. The Army says 12 people have been killed and 31 wounded in a shooting rampage at the Texas post Thursday afternoon.

The U.S. House is getting ready to put health care reform to a vote. The Affordable Health Care for America Act is scheduled for consideration this weekend, and AARP is giving its stamp of approval.
