The City of Sheridan will be hosting a public workshop regarding the City Landfill this Thursday night. City Utilities Manager Dan Roberts explains that the meeting is for citizens that live nearby the proposed landfill expansion.

JoCo Courthouse to Receive Security System

The Johnson County Courthouse will get a new security system after the county commissioners approved a request from Johnson County Emergency Management Coordinator Marilyn Connolly to allow Comtronics, Inc. to install security cameras and recording equipment in the courthouse.

DSA Wins Main Street Award

The Wyoming Main Street program is part of the Downtown Sheridan Association's Master Plan.

Downtown Sheridan Association Executive Director Stacie Coe and her assistant Bonnie Gregory traveled to Cheyenne last week to attend the quarterly meeting of Main Street Managers from around the state.

Film Incentive Bill Renewed

At the Johnson County Commission meeting last Tuesday, Buffalo City Planner Zach Montgomery and County Planner Rob Yingling presented an agreement to the commission drafted between the two entities to jointly apply for state and Federal funding for economic development in Buffalo and Johnson County.
