A college freshman from Sheridan is Chadron State's new rodeo queen. 18-year-old Bailey McLean was crowned Friday night during festivities at the college in Nebraska.

JCSD1: Conrad Street Extension May Come Sooner

At the regular meeting of the Johnson County School District One Board of Trustees this week, Superintendent Dr. Rod Kessler reported that Conrad Street at the new Cloud Peak School may get extended through to South Main Street sooner than originally thought.

City Council Approves Activities For Light Up Buffalo

The Future of Story

In early June of this year, the Wyoming Rural Development Council conducted a community assessment for the mountain community of Story. Residents had a chance to give their opinions and ideas of what they would like to see regarding the future of Story.
