In 2011, there were 62 burglary cases in the City of Sheridan. That number jumped to 106 in 2012, which is a 71 percent increase.

University of Wyoming Announces New President

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Oklahoma State Provost Robert Sternberg has been named president of the University of Wyoming. The UW Board of Trustees unanimously decided on Sternberg on Tuesday. Sternberg becomes the 24th president of Wyoming's only four-year public university.

At the Johnson County Commissioner's work session Tuesday, consensus funds projects were discussed by the commission, Buffalo Mayor Randy Dyess and Kaycee Mayor Tommy Knapp.
