A local man who's been collecting and restoring vintage radios for years is the one responsible for the sounds of the times at The Occidental hotel in Buffalo and soon-to-be at the Sheridan Inn.

The 35th annual Turkey Trot will take place Thanksgiving morning at Kendrick Park in Sheridan. Sports Stop and Foot of the Bighorns General Manager Michelle Maneval says the event will be chip-timed.

Troopers Locate Stranded Motorist

The Wyoming Highway Patrol issued a media release reminding those traveling for the holiday season that even though most motorists have a GPS, you should also map out your route in advance. The media release used a recent incident in the Bighorn Mountains as an example of why it's a good idea to cover all your tracks before taking to the road. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the story.
