Public meetings this week on zoning regs

The meeting in Buffalo will be Wednesday, December 4th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds' Community Building beginning at 7pm.
Kaycee's meeting will be Thursday, December 5th at the Harold Jarrard Park Community Building also at 7 o'clock.

Commissioners to discuss rural addressing

The Johnson County Commissioners will have their first meeting of December on Tuesday and will work through a full morning agenda.

Council approves resolution, licenses, board appointment

At their last meeting the Buffalo City Council approved Resolution No. 1364, which amends the Safety Policy of the City of Buffalo pertaining to confined space procedures, hazard communication, lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment.

Council Approves Sewer and Water Service Extensions

In a meeting that lasted just under five minutes Monday night, the Sheridan City Council, under the consent agenda, approved a non-contiguous annexation agreement to extend City sewer service to service lands owned by Peak Power Sports at 2275 Dry Ranch Road.

Community Holiday Dinner is Sunday

Santa and Mrs. Claus, gifts for the kids, and a holiday meal with all the trimmings are all on the menu of the annual Sheridan County Community Holiday Dinner this Sunday (Dec. 8). The event is free to all Sheridan County residents, and it will be from 4 to 7 at the Holiday Inn on Sugarland Drive.

County Commissioners to Discuss Floodplain Management

Sheridan County commissioners will consider items ranging from county floodplain management to mobile home park licenses for 2014 when they meet this week. The meeting will start at 9 Tuesday morning in the commissioners' board room on the second floor of the county courthouse addition.
